A new tv!

We were both pretty excited about our new smart tv with 3D (!) so when we finally picked it up Tair decided we needed an "unpacking" video:

(New Olim Tip: If you're not planning on getting cable you can still get some basic channels through Idan+ (all in Hebrew- good way to learn) so make sure your tv has the box built in.  I think an external box costs around 200NIS. If you do want to use the Idan+ you'll also need an antenna and in certain areas (like ours) the antenna needs to be placed outside so do your research before purchasing.)

Of course we had to play with the 3D right away...



Little did I know, Tair had never seen 3D before:

All in all the tv is great, it's convenient and we're having lots of fun with it. It connects to the internet and includes some nice integration with our smart phones and computers, making it especially easy to watch videos on YouTube.
